Removed Sophos 9.107 Up2Date from FTP server due to RED50 kernel problem

Due to a severe error in the RED50 kernel we have removed the soft-released Sophos UTM 9.107 Up2Date from our FTP-Server. Installing the 9.107 update will result in a RED50 kernel crash at unpredictable intervals. 

We therefore advise all customers who have already downloaded Sophos UTM 9.107 and who operate RED50 to not install this update. We are working under high pressure to release a fix for those customers already affected.

    Has anyone else reported their RED50 crashing the main firewall?  We have a ticket open #4229310 which we believe is because of the RED50.  It seems whenever it is online it will crash the main firewall once a day.  This happened after the update to 9.107-33.  We have since unplugged the RED50 and no issues.  All the RED10's work fine.  Prior to that version it didn't crash the main unit and we had not had any other problems with it in years.

    So far support hasn't made much headway and I really need to get that RED50 deployed in two weeks so I'm hoping someone has some ideas.

    It's already off.  We don' t use QoS on any of the interfaces.  Never could get it to work right so we abandoned that idea years ago.  We only need to prioritize SIP traffic however it didn't seem to make any difference no matter what we tried.  (That's another issue unrelated to this of course however QoS can't be the problem since it's off)

    Thanks for the thought though.  Any ideas are welcome.  Seems something from RED50 is causing a buffer overrun or errant packet that would do this.  Just not sure why since the RED50 is only plugged in and no traffic even passing through the tunnel.
