Possible to install Home UTM onto an old hardware appliance?

I have a now redundant hardware appliance (Netgear UTM9S) that can't do much for me without paying for licensing (we have replaced the UTM with an alternate).

I was wondering if it would be possible to repurpose for use at home so I guess my question is, has anyone tried to install the Home UTM onto such a device and if so, how do you go about it?

    I believe he meant to install Sophos UTM Home on a Netgear hardware.

    That depends on the hardware. Sophos needs x86 hardware (so basically a regular PC with some NICs). I don't know if the Netgear appliance is of this kind...

    And I think the answer is no to the Netgear appliance. It was just a thought.
