HA event: message from node 2! Expected # but got #+1

Hi, 

While upgrading our HA system, we got entries in our HA logfile, like the following; 
2013:11:11-04:26:47 vpn-1 ha_daemon[3644]: id="38A1" severity="warn" sys="System" sub="ha" name="Lost heartbeat message from node 2! Expected 387143 but got 387144
"

The details;
- The system is hosted in VM's. 
- the upgrade was performed according to UTMv9 Reserve node feature in HA |
- The upgrade was from  9.004-33 to 9.106-17. 
- The update of the slave node was performed 2 days after the first node upgrade.
- the slave node was rebooted with no result.

    No, im sorry for the confusion. We get these messages after the updating. 

    As these are virtual machines, we suspect that this might have to do with not enabling the nics for jumbo/large frames. We'll research some more and let you know.

    I have the same Message about 3-4 times per month with 2 VMs on 2 Hosts. But everything is working fine so i just ignore the Message. Maybe it comes from a high Bandwidth usage or something like this.

    Do you use a Physical Nic & Virtuel Switch only for HA?

    Yes, we have dedicated nic's and a dedicated vSwitch just for the HA heartbeat. We thought it might has to do with the enlarged packet size (mtu 2000) the Heartbeat uses and the turning on jumbo frames. But alas, that didn't solve the issue. We've even tried a crosscable connect instead of using the pSwitches, but the message still appears.

    If you're getting this message consistently, I bet the developers would like a look at your setup.  Please submit a support request to Sophos, and then let us know what the solution was.
