Supermicro S2000 series Atom with Marvel Alaskan nics

I am looking into this server, anyone test it out yet with a Sophos UTM? Wondering how Sophos UTM likes the Marvel Alaskan nics?

    I know this is an old thread, but am wondering if anyone built the 5018A-FTN4 UTM? I am thinking of replacing some branch office UTM 120's with a DIY build. The 120's and 220's just don't have enough RAM. Also looking for a recommendation for a compact case with an i5 MB that I can put 2 quad port NIC's in for a DIY 220 replacement.

    For 2 NICs, mini-ITX is out of the question (unless you can find 4 onboard ports, see JetWay)...

    Not sure how compact you want, but you're looking at uATX; boards are easy to find, look at AnandTech for uATX case reviews. iirc, Fractal Design has some nice ones, Cooler Master, Antec...

    Antec has some 'NSK' mini cases, but I haven't been impressed with the tiny cooling fans, lack of air filters, nor the non-standard power supplies. Their other cases tend to be better.
