2 times routing in 1 utm

I want to install an utm 110 @ a customer which has a new isp.

The connection has to be setup with 2 routers, this is how the network of the isp is designed.


First a p2p network from the isp to the first router, and then a external network to the second router and after that the internal lan.

I can use a simple router and behind that the utm100 ofcourse but I'm wondering if I can only use the utm110.

Maybe use the extra dmz or ha port of do something with vlan?

You guys have a good idea?

    Are you sure?  Can you give us more precisions about the ISP's service and their router?  The best would be to set it in bridge mode so that you have the public IP on the UTM.

    The isp provides no router/modem, they provide a ethernetswitch (its a fiber connection), you have to place your own router after the switch and on the lan side of that router you can attach your range with 8 public ip's.

    I can configure a router with routed subnet on the first router and after that the utm 110 but I hoped there is a trick to do it with only the UTM. Then I can eliminate 1 extra device, less chance of failure.

    You don't need the router.  The UTM already does everything a router can do.  Just plug their connection into the External interface of the UTM.
