Shuttle DS47 for UTM appliance?

I'm considering buying a Shuttle DS47 to run the UTM software. I have a 80/20mbs vdsl/fftc connection. I'd like to run ids, av, logging, vpn, the whole works if possible.

The DS46 has the following specs :
CPU Family Intel Celeron (Dual Core)
Processor Number 847
CPU Speed 1.1 GHz
Network Card Dual Realtek 8111G
Network Card Data Link Protocol Ethernet
Network Card Speeds 10/100/1000 Mbps
Wireless Network Yes
Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11b/g/n 


I've done some searching, looks like nobody has posted about this pc.

Will the UTM work with the nics ?
How much RAM should I buy ? 
Approximately what sort of performance can I expect ?

    Hi and welcome aboard,
    there are a number of good reasons why no-one has posted about that box.
    1/. for your link speed the CPU is too slow
    2/. it uses realtek NICs not recommended especially at your link speed
    3/. inbuilt wireless network is currently not supported on a UTM. Sophos make their own APs which are managed by the UTM.


    Minimum requirements
    1/. cpu around 2.5ghz or capable of bursting to that, dual core
    2/. 4gb preferably 8gb of ram
    3/. Intel NICs
    4/. 80-120gb of disk does  not need to be high peformance
