Mac Mini for UTM9x?

I saw on the HCL list that some people have managed to get UTM9 running on a Mac Mini (i5) with the Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter. If you are one of these people who have gotten this working I was wondering what your experience has been? Everything working? Any issues? Performance? I have a spare mac mini and I would rather use that if I can for UTM than building another box (for ergonomic and power reasons). 

Any advice, input appreciated.

    Don't know if anyone has gotten ahold of you regarding this yet. I have a slightly different approach to it. I have a 2011 MacMini server with thunderbolt, 16Gb RAM, and the 256Gb SSD drive. I've actually installed ESXi 5.1 on this machine, and have it run my UTM9 appliance, a DC, and File server. With the proper drivers, you can use the Pegasus R6 Thunderbolt array in ESXi as well! It's a super quiet, super responsive little setup.

    I have an Apple MacMini (6,1) running UTM. 9.1 will not see the onboard NIC at all, but will work with the thuderbolt NIC.

    The good news is that 9.2 does work and can see both NICs. It works great.

    In case it helps, I have a UTM running in a VMware Fusion virtual machine on a Mac Mini for test purposes. The virtual machine's network adapters are set to bridged networking (Autodetect). I gave them IP addresses on the LAN. The virtual UTM internal address is set as the gateway for several local hosts and devices so that their Internet traffic routes through it.
