Will an Astaro Backup File work in Sophos?

I am in the process of updating from my old Astaro software (ASG Firmware version 8.003 Home License) to the latest Sophos software.

If I were to create a backup of the current settings of my Astaro server, would that backup be useable in the Sophos (Home License) as a way of importing the current settings on the Astaro?

    Hi Asta,

    Generally speaking, a backup file generated in an older ASG/UTM version can safely be restored to a newer version. The new Sophos branding is just that, branding. Under the hood it's still the same product.
