8.310 Update Results in Increased CPU, Memory Utilization

Hello,

Since I upgraded to 8.310 yesterday my minimum CPU util has increased to 39% from an 24% over the last year. Average CPU util has increased from 52% to 68%.

Average memory/swap util has increased from 66%/37% over the last week to 70%/41% over the last day.

Anyone else notice this update is a resource hog? The WebAdmin UI is almost unusable now.

Yes, I noticed similar issues with 8.310 and ended up going back to 8.309.

I also had issues with 8.310 but it involved the loading of the local content filtering database.

It doesn't sound like your issue is the same as mine but I thought I should share in case it helps. No one responded with any ideas so I also went back to 8.309.

I posted the link below early in the year. It sort of documents the growth in memory issues, etc., for earlier v.8 versions. They're beginning to get a handle on it in v.9.1xx releases, but it probably won't go back to where it once was due to changes in the programs.
