UTM 9.103 Soft-Released

Hi guys,
there is a new update on the FTP server [:)]
Has anyone installed this update?

    I would have the same problem.

    Installed the http proxy RPM from the ftp which (should have) fixed the 100% CPU usage

    At the moment our HA-System is not working right.
    We have 4 changes between the machines since 1 hour.
    we get mails with:
    Pop3 proxy not running - restarted
    HA confd sync daemon not running - restarted ASG 120 
    VPN connection '...' [IPsec] using Site-to-Site is down.
    VPN connection '...' [IPsec] using Site-to-Site is up again
    Cluster node is now Worker
    HA node is now Slave
    The High Availability System is active and fully functional.

    I think there are changes nessersarry.

    After a restart of the normal master machine there ist a misstake in den ha-monitor:

    first:  rpm -e ep-httpproxy
    then auisys.plx --rpmargs --force is working

    Warning!

    I should warn that removing RPMs from a running system could lead to crashes; e.g. the proxy could crash when the RPM is removed.

    Hi Bob,

    It would uninstall any rpm named ep-httproxy exactly, plus the version number.
    If there were another name named ep-httproxy-reporting..., for example, it would not be removed.

    Removing the RPM from the up2date directory won't remove it from the system or from the RPM database, so that's unlikely to help.

    I should warn that removing RPMs from a running system could lead to crashes; e.g. the proxy could crash when the RPM is removed.

    Our HA-System is totally broken.
    The SMTP is crashed a few hours ago. No chance at the moment to restart or repair.

    Our support prepair a new box at the moment.

    I was going to post the rpm -e method but was afraid since my rpm foo is a little rusty ever since I gave up on redhat a few years ago. I was actually hoping that one of the devs would let us know how to fix this. I don't understand how this stuff keeps on happening. Granted, the original http patch was not for general public and probably shouldn't have been posted as now we have 3 pages of stuff totally un-related to the actual bugs in soft release. More importantly it shouldn't have been installed blindly by everyone.

    But the fact remains ... Some dev that deals with httpproxy wrote the patch and named it to sophos internal numbering standard and somehow the rpm in the latest release completely forgot to match / check against that [:S] Hopefully they will fix the problem before the GA but idiotic mistakes like this deters users from testing soft releases in their environments. 

    I really like soft release system, but lets be real... its a soft release and not a beta release and should not be treated as such by sophos [:@]
