UTM Home Licence: How are active IP`s counted and detected?

Dear all,

i`m using now since 3 days the Astaro UTM with a home licence.

I have some VLANs with different IP Networks.
In total i have 16 active system IP`s, all of them Using the UTM as gateway, 1 Vlan also using DHCP Service from UTM.
DNS Service (as forwarder) is active also.

When i look into the licence information, to see how many active IP`s are counted, no active IP is shown there...

How does Astaro detect and count active IP`s ? i`m just wondering...

From the command line, run
/usr/local/bin/count_active_ip.plx --showcount

thanx, this worked for me, now they are also shown in the web-tab :-)

is there a way to clear this list so that the UTM learns new?
Is it right, that the normal holding time is 7!! days ?

Hi ,

In home license you have 50 IP.
In lots of production installations I also noticed that the UTM does not count IP behind VLANs
I'd it does not count it you won't have any problems , so just leave it like that and don't worry.
