Intel Guardfish DQ965GF

Hello,

I'm about to purchase a used PC for home use.  Appreciate any comments from forum users to see if the following spec with work with UTM v9

CPU: IntelRegistered Core 2 Duo Processor E6600 (4M Cache, 2.40 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)
Motherboard: Intel Guardfish DQ965GF (1 PCI-E x16, 1 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI, 4 DIMM, Audio, Video, LAN) Back Panel I/O Ports:
Motherboard Chipset: Intel Broadwater Q965 Express / Intel ICH8
Drives: - Seagate Barracuda ST3160815AS 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
System Memory: 1024 MB DDR2 800 (PC-6400) SDRAM ( 2x512MB DDR2 800, 2 of 4 slots used)
Network: On-board Gigabit 10/100/1000 MB LAN
Intel PRO/1000 GT Desktop Low-Profile Network Adapter, Gigabit Controller, Model: PWLA8391GTLBLK or
Intel PWLA8391GTBLK Pro 1000 GT Gigabit Copper Desktop NIC 32-bit 66MHz PCI, OEM

    That's likely to work fine; some custom appliances we use use the Q965 chipset.

    You need at least 2GB of RAM, though (4GB better), and you can only use ONE hard drive -- UTM does not support software-based RAID.  If you have 2 hooked up, no matter the configuration, you will probably have issues.

    You'll need to set the onboard SATA controller to SATA or AHCI mode only, if the board includes a RAID setting, don't try to use it.
