Hardware Questions - SSD Drive, RAM

Does Sophos UTM install properly on and work properly on SSD hard drives?

What has been your Sophos UTM experience with SSD hard drives.

How much RAM is too much (A Waste of Money)?  Example:  Install 8 GB of RAM instead of installing 4 GB of RAM?  The hardware that I am considering is "overkill".  The hardware will support multiple times (at least 10X) the peak bandwidth that is needed.

Does Sophos UTM support ECC RAM?

    Don't forget the lower power consumption of SSDs.

    With an 80plus bronze PSU, SSD and some minor changes in BIOS my ASG220 now consumes only 32 Watts instead of 70 under equal load.

    The changed harddisk contributes a saving of 7 Watts.
