Hardware Questions - SSD Drive, RAM

Does Sophos UTM install properly on and work properly on SSD hard drives?

What has been your Sophos UTM experience with SSD hard drives.

How much RAM is too much (A Waste of Money)?  Example:  Install 8 GB of RAM instead of installing 4 GB of RAM?  The hardware that I am considering is "overkill".  The hardware will support multiple times (at least 10X) the peak bandwidth that is needed.

Does Sophos UTM support ECC RAM?

    Ecc or not is supported by the hardware you are choosing, the software wont see the difference. With the current prices of ram, 8 gb's a great choice. Maybe somewhat over the normal need, it will still be great having if/when demands increase over time for the very small premium you pay.
