I agree. How can I upgrade from 9.100008 to 9.100012 (besides manually installing the changed RPMs)? What is the difference between these two versions?

There will no doubt be a -8 to -12 up2date released at some point, probably about the time 9.100 goes GA.

Hi, s.voll, and welcome to the User BB!

AngeloC suggests that you edit /etc/version to change it to 9.006005 and try your Up2Date again. If that doesn't work, then a reload seems to be your only quick solution.

With the update u2d-sys-9.006005-100014.tgz.gpg.md5 the problems are over. This version is quite stable.
