ASG120 only running at half speed after BIOS reset

I bought an old ASG120 Appliance with VIA Eden 800Mhz CPU.
As I received it I let it run and it showed 800Mhz CPU Speed - so far so good.
I reset the BIOS using the onboard jumper and removed the battery as well.
After that procedure, the CPU runs only at 400Mhz (100x4).
I repeated the reset but still the same. There is nothing to configure in BIOS about DRAM or CPU settings.

Any ideas?

The Box was manufactured in 04.2008. There is a sticker below: "1GB" but only 512MB are inside. Its a 512MB PC3200 stick.

Hi Stelekro,

For that old unit, AFAIK the CPU speed was set with jumpers on the mainboard itself. Sure you didn't change any of those when using a jumper to reset the bios?
