ASG220 Mem Warnings.. ok to upgrade to v9?

We have been getting the following memory errors on a client's 220:

The memory usage of this system during the last 7 days was high. The memory either averaged over 75% utilization or experienced multiple periods of full memory use. High memory usage can cause hard disk swapping which reduces throughput and increases latency of several applications

Just wondering if it's ok to upgrade to 9 from 8.309 or will that make memory util worse?

    Upgrading from v8 to v9 with exactly the same featureset enabled will do just fine. But since v9 uses both SAV & Avira as AV engines, please consider switching to single-scan and select the less memory-consuming Avira engine.

    Do not enable additional features in your case.

    ATM there is not need to upgrade if v8 has all the functionality you need as v8 is still fully supported and receiving firmware upgrades!

    Please tell us the reason why you want to upgrade so we can make a recommendation.

    Thanks.. I updated several from v8 to v9 over the weekend without issue.. it actually seems like the devices are using less RAM. I found it interesting that different devices report different version of 9 as "Your firmware is up to date". For example, some show 9.006-5 as being the latest and others show 9.004.33. I even have one that shows 9.004.43 at the latest. Weird. 

    Below are the versions I upgraded from and what's showing the latest version. 



    ASG220 - 8.309 (Your firmware is up to date.. says hardware doesn't support 9)
    UTM220 - 9.005-16  (Your firmware is up to date)
    UTM120 - 9.004-34  (Your firmware is up to date)
    ASG120 - 8.309 (Your firmware is up to date..says hardware doesn't support 9)
    UTM120 - 9.004-33 > 9.006-5
    ASG120 - 8.309 > 9.004-33
    ASG120 - 7.513 > Upgrade to 8 will not kickoff, simply logs me off after clicking start update
    ASG120 - 8.309 > 9.004-33
    ASG220 - 8.309 > 9.004-33
    ASG120 -  8.309 > Firmware download timing out. 
    ASG120 -  8.309 > 9.004-33
    ASG120 - 8.308 > 9.004-33
    UTM120 - 9.005-16 > 9.006-5

    On another note.. SUM 4 works fantastic for pushing firmware.. I wish it recognized UTM devices as such and not as ASG.
