Can I install Sophos on a VM?

Hello.
Can I install Sophos on a VM?
The Host is a Windows Server 2008 R2.

Why I ask you? let me explain:
• I have more than 20 VMs running on a cluster Windows Server 2012.
• VMs are running Server 2008 R2, 2008 and 2003.
• VMs have one, two or three Virtual Switches.

The problem is that Sophos doesn't redirect traffic networks through virtual switches.

What do I need to do to resolve it?

    Hi, which VM  Hypervisor are you using?

    You've already installed the UTM in a VM?

    Can you make a logical diagram of the vSwitches and firewall interfaces, and explain how the interfaces are configured?

    UTM is installed in VM over a Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V Host.
    UTM receives different VLNAs IDs and it doesn’t know how to manage these VLANs. 
    What do I have to configure?

    This afternoon I will try to install UTM in VM over a Windows Server 2012 Hyper-v Host. 
    Spanish Sophos support told us that we have to active SR-IOV, What do you think? I read that activate it causes that UTM hangs.

    Can you give me any advice?

    I will make the diagram this afternoon.
