upgrade from v8 to v9

Hi All, I decided to upgrade my software version from 8 to 9
All went well until I restored the backup from ASG8


I'm just guessing, but maybe the new installation renamed the nic cards and eth 0 is no longer the correct interface.

I know nothing about Linux, but when check out the Linux screen it all looks as if it should work

Gone back to my router firewall until I can fix it

Any ideas greatly appreciated

    Hi, you can figure out which NIC is which a couple of ways:

    1. by MAC address (from webadmin or ifconfig, and looking at the MACs printed on the NICs)

    2. from the console, run ping -f to a LAN or WAN address. Then plug your WAN or LAN connection into different NICs until you see one blinking rapidly.
