ram issues are actually worse. I actually went to cloudy so as to run in a more supported configuration. One snort instance which is default for a 2 cpu system. The thing went and file cached 35% of main memory and would not let it go. swap jumped up to only 13% BUT packet processing stopped from time to time. The whole inet connection froze as the vm struggled to keep up with whatever was going on inside itself.
