What can be impact of Maintenace Silver license expiry

Hello All,

 I am back with a doubt this time not an issue for a change [:)]

 I am getting a notification in my ACC(Astaro Command Center - Yes we have upgraded our ASG soft appliance to Sophos UTM but not the ACC to UTM yet) that my MaintenanceSilver license subscription will expire in 15 Days. 

 So i would like to know here that if i dont renew my license then what impact i will be having in my existing ACC. I mean will any feature be disabled or just that i wont be getting any support from Astaro/Sophos. Also the regular Executive Reports and Configuration Autobackup will continue or they will be disabled. And most importantly we are planning to upgrade our ACC to Sophos UTM so will there be any hurdles in the process due to the expired license?

 I would really appreciate if someone can explain me the detailed list of consequences of not renenwing the license after expiry if i have missed out of anything so i can try to convince my management to renew it asap.

    Hi, many features will be disabled, iirc including access to webadmin.

    You need to renew, or convert to the free 'essentials' license.

    Hello BarryG,

      Thanks for the reply. So i wont be able to take webadmin of ACC at all in a way i wont be able to access it if the license is not renewed, is that you mean?
     
     Also can you please elaborate which features will be disabled?

     Correct if i am wrong but isnt ACC freely available if you have licensed Astaros? I mean we have Licensed Sophos UTM software appliance so wouldn't its license be valid for ACC or UTM?

    Sorry, I misread and thought the ASG / UTM license for the firewall was expiring.

    Hi Barry,

     No my Sophos UTM software appliance is well under license expiry period but Silver Maitenance licence for my ACC(Astaro Command Center) is expiring in 15 days so would like to get idea about it.
