Kernel panic when tying to install UTM 9

I am getting the message, kernel panic - not syncing: attempted to kill init, when trying to install UTM 9 on my home system.

The system is a Gigaybyte GA-EP45-UD3P MB with 2 onboard lan ports and 3 add on Intel nic's, this system has been running ASG v8 for several months with no problems.

I am doing a new install on to a new hd, I have not changed any bios settings,
I have downloaded the software version iso several times and burned the image at lower speed with no success, I can install the image on to another mb with no problems.

I would appreciate any help.

    It crashes right after hitting the enter key on the welcome screen.

    I tried installing the 9.1 beta, it installed, but upon reboot it tries to boot
    the system, but shuts the system down, I have to hit the power switch
    to restart the system.
