Onboard Motherboard NIC

Are there benefits to any of these NIC configurations?

A.  2x onboard Realtek 1gb
B.  1x onboard Realtek 1gb, 1x Intel PCIe 1gb
C.  2x Intel PCIe 1gb
D.  1x Dual port Intel PCIe 1gb

My setup only requires 2 NICs, and will be fairly modern hardware, most astaro features enabled with the WAN connection as a 50mb down / 10mb up cable connection.

Hi, Intel NICs are much better than Realtek.

There is probably no functional difference between C and D, but I would check the NIC Chip model # and make sure it's supported by Astaro, especially if it is very new/recent.

or find a mobo with dual intel nics..they do exist..[:)]
