Soft-Release 8.309

Here's the latest and greatest soft-release for v8.  Feel free to give it a try.  One big feature is the ability to One-Touch upgrade from this release to v9 for Appliance HA/Cluster configurations.  If all goes well, it should GA in about a week.

Bugfixes

  • 19643 - Form Hardening blocks request due to missing token, although URL Hardening Exception should allow access
  • 22316 -  Enabled flash based reporting crashs the browser
  • 22350 - URL Hardening blocks requests if URL contains a single quote
  • 22642 - Cisco VPN not working with IOS6

The Up2date package includes a new mpfc pattern. It will allow all  Cluster/HA systems to upgrade to version 9.
Cluster/HA upgrade is only possible with version 8.309.

    I received mail from Sophos support, because of the memory leak with 9.004-34.
    They told me to change the primary scan engine from Sophos to Avira and restart http-proxy.
    After executing this the swap-usage on our ASG320 went down from over 90% to actual 61%.

    Further Sophos support told me, that 9.005 should arrive at thursday, next week (24th of january)
