trouble with nic driver

I have a motherboard with 2 integrated nics.
One of them is an Atheros. UTM is not loading the kernel driver for this nic.
I've spent hours trying to compile a driver for it, but it stops me at every turn. Any suggestions?

Try VLAN ID 0 (zero). If that still doesn't work, use an unused VLAN as 'untagged' and the default VLAN as 'tagged' (at the switchport).

Unluckily it's not implemented at UTM side to allow the same physical interface for untagged & tagged traffic. Feel free to vote for the "VLAN and LAN on Interface" feature, though. IMO this is an important missing feature and basic functionality, but those are just my two cents.
