Putting disk from software Ver. into hardware 320

Is it possible to put the disk from software (v9 install on DELL) into 320?

The disk is working OK on the DELL PC but when I put (the disk)  into the hardware (320) its fire up and look OK but I can't get to WebAdmin.
I tried changing the internet port on the 320 but none help.

Is there any way I can get this working?

    Here's the problem, tal - the installation program only loads drivers for the devices it finds on the system where it's installed.  If you know a lot about Linux, you might be able to add the necessary drivers manually, but I don't recall seeing a how-to here for that.

    Thanks, yes that was my supposition - the driver for the the0 on the 320 is not install on the software version. Don't know lot about Linux, but maybe someone can point me to the right direction to add the driver for eth0 (on 320) to the software version.

    Move the disk back to the DELL. Do a backup of the config.
    Make a fresh install on the 320 and push back the backup.

    This should be done in about 30 mins.

    I will give it a try, is the configuration from software installation going to load on hardware installation?

    OK, there is no way this will work.
    The main reason for doing the software installation is to get V9.
    The hardware is old 320 and do not have VGA output, I can put on it V8 with no problem but V9 is stack on installation ... 
    So I did software installation on a DELL.
    Now If I do like you advise me to do I will end up with V8 again on the 320.

    I need some way to get the internet driver for eth0 on to the software (V9).
    I can access both with SSH, if someone will point me where and how to change the hardware driver in Linux.

    If this is a Rev.1 320, it won't run V9 as a 320.  You could install the software version of V9 on the 320, but your 320 license would not be valid with it.  Or, is this for home use?

    Yes it is for home use. the V9 software (or the hardware one) will not install on the 'old' 320.
    It is stack on 'installing'.

    And the software version need a lot of interaction while the 320 do not have VGA output.

    @Talbengal, if I recall correctly the 320 will have a 15 pin VGA header on the motherboard which you can plug a VGA Dongle into, it's been years upon years that I've last seen one, so if you see the cluster of 15 pins the following item may work for you.

    Its worked! - THANK YOU, I do have monitor on my 'old' 320.

    Now one more question - can I upgrade the memory from 1GB to what?
    And what memory to use.
