Home use license question

I'm having trouble understanding the "home use" license.

Some say that features will only work for 30 days.
Some say they work until 2015.

Even in the WebAdmin, it says "html5 vpn" status disabled, yet I am using the html5 vpn every day.

I'm asking because I've spent a great deal of time configuring this system (around 80 hours) and I don't want all my work to be yanked out from under me in 20 days.

I've read the docs, and scoured this website, but like I say, I see conflicting details.

    To ease your confusion:

    Upon initial install from ISO, no license applied, you get 30 days to try all the features.  You get no official support.

    If you install an Essentials Edition License, you get a limited feature set for "life." The Essentials License is a bare-bones firewall license, and is free.  You get no official support.  You can register for an Essentials Edition license on the Sophos website.

    If you install a Home Edition License, you get access to all features on the system, with the exception of some message customization features, and are limited to 50 IPs.  This license has a set duration, normally a couple of years or so, and, so far, renewing this license has been simple and allowed when it expires.  You get no official support.  You can register for a home license on the Sophos website.

    Commercial licenses are sold for varying lengths of time, with different feature subscriptions, and numbers of protected IPs (or unlimited if using a UTM Hardware license).  These are officially supported by Sophos Support and Resellers.  You need to contact a reseller to purchase a commercial license.
