That's a 1-yr subscription for 100 IPs. ASSN00251NS would be for 25.  I think the number of connections depends on the power of the CPU.

Your reseller should be helping you with this.

I have a nice virtual hardware, but the number of connections is also limited in virtual lincensing.

You may also need a powerful CPU and plenty of RAM, depending on what features you're using.

Based on my knowledge, the number of connections is in most cases the smaller problem then the number of protected IPs, as the UTM has a "licensed IP cache" of 7 days...

The way licensing works, I recommend buying on the basis of the number of IPs. If you need to, you can change the license to the next step up at the cost of cutting in half the remaining time the license is valid.

I recommend you contact Sophos or a local reseller to get some pre-sales engineering consultation.

OK, so maybe you will need the 100-IP version.  I would get payment for the 100-IP version, install the UTM software and see what usage levels are.  Then, you can buy the 100-IP if needed or purchase a 25-IP or 50-IP and refund the difference to a smiling customer. [;)]
