Extremely Slow Internet

pitonsxxl, William and I disagree about some things, and this is one.  Depending on what you're doing, a 320 with 2GB can be plenty of power for 150 users - although there may be an issue with some glitches in these early versions of V9.  I have one new client on V9, but will do the first upgrade to V9 tomorrow.  I'll probably not do any other V9 upgrades until February.

If you want me to spend 10 minutes looking at your configuration to make a recommendation on whether you should make changes there or go back to V8.307, email me at my username here at the domain listed in my signature.

I agree that ASG320 with 2GB should be enough. More exactly it was enough until final update [:)]. 
I have opened support ticket in Sophos for this problem. I will keep you informed you about the resolution...

For information i keep one backup ASG320 with previous version 9.004-16 and production system backup ready to be turned on.  As it doesn't consume licence when it is working as cold spare. I just won't to fix this issue before reverting to previous version where i don't have any logs (I know that they can be copied....)

In fact, since Astaro changed to the new licensing scheme a couple years ago, having two units in Hot-Standby requires no additional licensing cost.

This is fairly straightforward: configure the current Master for Hot-Standby, Factory Reset the spare, connect the spare to power and Ethernet switches and turn the spare on.  The Master will see it and sync its configuration, logs and databases to the spare.

Want to share my progress on this.
I have official ASG320 licence so I opened support ticket.
Support asked me a lot of questions and also webadmin and ssh access.
I couldn't wait longer for their response and did restart in weekend. What a surprise - problem went away - no high CPU usage and no swap leak.

Back to support - after a few days after i did restart they finally connected to my ASG320 and did something. I don't know what - nobody sent me anything - i just looked at access log and saw them logging in and out a few times.
But my problem was fixed by my solution - a simple reboot [:)]
So I say thank you Astaro support but you were too late - I think because of this sophos/astaro buy/sell thing. They don't know how support will be organised and there is some chaos right now. But they figure this out sooner or later.

Hi, rebooting normally only temporarily helps a memory leak, if there is one.

I would recommend following up with support to check their status.

Master will also sync slave to same version as Master have ?

I haven't tried it, but BrucekConvergent says that he has done that.
