Hardware system fail

Hardware system failed need to get new system up and running

old system 32bit,  intel base board, 4GB Ram, 3 network adapter, 500 GB HDD, 2 Intel processor

New system 64bit, Amd base board, 16GB Ram, 2 network adapter 700GB HDD, 2 quad core Amd processor.


I had a system with 3 network adapters Wan lan1 lan2, I had all the vlans created on Lan2 but now with the new system I only have 2 adapters WAN and LAN.

? can I use the backup config from the old system on the new system.
or is it best to try and recreate all the rules.

since this system only has 1 LAN  adapter can I recreate the vlans on the Lan
with out running into problems.

    Hi, the backup probably won't work on the new system since there are fewer NICs.

    Perhaps you can add a NIC temporarily?

    You can re-create the VLANs, but you must use the WAN interface to connect to WebAdmin, if you only have 2 NICs.
