Use 8.306 backup with UTM 9

Hi, I've just tried installing UTM 9 on a test machine. Everything seemed to work fine and I soon got to the web interface startup wizard. I installed a backup file, from my current 8.306 machine, which also worked okay and then rebooted. When the machine came back up httpd failed (and so consequently did WebAdmin).

Thinking this was a one-off glitch I started again from a clean install only to see exactly the same problem. If I don't reboot after installing the backup file there is no sign of any problem and it appears that all of the settings have been restored correctly (haven't done an exhaustive check).

Any ideas?

    Use an automatic Backup file. Dont use a manually created one.

    Thanks for the advice; seemed a bit odd but not hard to try (and nothing to lose).

    That seemed to get a bit further - httpd seemed to start up okay but then WebAdmin failed and at the end of the startup summary I get 'Failed services in runlevel 3: httpd'.

    If I type 'service httpd status'  I get ':: Status WebAdmin  unused'

    So two questions naturally arise:
    - Why does it matter whether I use an automatic or manually backed up config?
    - Is there any way to progress from here?
