AD-auth not working after License expired

System is ASG320 ver. 8.301. The license (base license only) expired a couple of weeks ago. As we plan to replace the box we do not want to buy a new license, just use it as a basic router/packet filter until it is replaced.

However, we use ad backend auth for admin-login and this stopped working becuse the license has expired[:O]

I mean ..we still have some old v. 7 boxes acting as routers with the license expired years ago, but they should be working with the base functionality at the time the license expired?

Am I missing something here? When the license expires, I won't have updates, that's fine, but I should still be able to use the basic features allready paid for?

Am I not able to use radius/ad-login to webadmin when the license is expired?

K.
