Vlans

Can Astaro have muiltable vlans asigned to a single nic? Like a Trunk NIC? I have never been able to figure out how to do this if posible. What would be the steps to do this if it is posble

    Astaro does support tagged VLANs. I use them with several VLAN enabled WiFi devices so they work well.

    When your setting up a new interface, among the choices (DHCP, Cable, etc) there is a VLAN option. Once that first VLAN is setup, adding new ones is as simple as adding new interfaces & specifying the tag value.

    Setting up a existing interface however is trickier as you have to remove the interface first before setting it up as a VLAN interface. This means any rules that depend on the existing interface definition(s) will need to be rebuilt to support the new VLAN interface.
