Hardware reference guides?

Just received an ASG320 in unknown condition and missing hard drive. Looking for old hardware docs on Sophos' site is an exercise in futility. Heck, even getting documentation on NEW products is a bit of a joke...

Anyone have a link to or a pdf on the guts of the brown/orange ASG320? I can tell that the HD replacement will require PATA (which will be fun to source), but the additional sockets & features/limitations are a black box right now.

    OK,

    Does it have RAM and CPU installed?
    How many NIC ports are present?

    If it's completely stripped, it's possible that it had a hardware failure.

    Hopefully someone will chime in and let you know the RAM & CPU specifications for that model, but the 320s all had 1GB or 2GB installed, and many of the 1GB models can be upgraded to 2GB.

    FYI, without the original HD, you will be limited to using the "Software Appliance" version of Astaro, and a non-appliance license.

    Mainly this means the LCD won't work (unless you want to do some hacking), and the NICs will probably be in the wrong order (which can be fixed by editing /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules and rebooting).
