ASG 120,upgrade a version 9 with 1gb ram

Hi all
sorry for my bad english ....
My customer have many asg120 with 1gb ram.
He will upgrade al the appliance at the version 9.0,is it possible ?
I readed that the minimum hardware required is with 2 gb ram....is it correct ?
If the customer remains with the version 8.305 will be have problem with the virus and spam defenition ?

Hi, lucahornet, and welcome to the User BB!

The 1GB units are "supported but not recommended" so they are upgradable to V9. V8 was released two years before V9. V7 installations are supported with virus, spam and IPS definitions through the end of this year. I suspect that V8 will be supported for at least two more years.
