ASG 120 revision X

Hello to all, 

as the UTM V9 is near to be avalaible,  i'd like to try first at home thet at work. for the work appliances no problem, they are all ASG320 rev 4 and are reccomended / supported.

But at home i have a ASG120 rev 4 (expanded to 2GB) and this is not reccomended (referring to Sophos UTM 9 Release Notes). 

what'is the difference between ASG120 rev 4 and rev 5 ?

    It's only that the SSI ISO will fail with the non-original RAM inside and forces you to either put the previous 1GB RAM inside and install and put back in the 2GB afterwards *or* install manually using the ASG ISO.

    thanks, i will try to update via up2date when it will become avalaible and if  problems i must remember to put original ram in my asg120.

    My understanding is that you can't load a home license on a SSI ISO-loaded Astaro / Sophos appliance... you'll want to use the regular software ISO... that won't require any RAM changes, etc.

    i'm using a Home License on a SSI ISO loaded Astaro ASG120 appliance, following the info on this site i just renamed the file /etc/asg after installation

    but i can wait the final up2date V9 and see what happen [;)]
