From V7 Soft to V9 Hardware

Hi,

short, is it possible to load a V7 Config Backup from a Software appliance in the new UTM9 Hardware?

Or do i need to take the steps over V8 for Config File transformation?

Hi,

I asked the same thing; there wasn't an official answer from Astaro/Sophos (yet?), but the consensus on the forums and from my reseller is to install 8.x, import the backup, up2date to 8.305, backup, and install v9 and import the 8.3 backup.

If your license says 'Classic' mode, you need to upgrade it (by emailing the license support address shown in my.astaro.com).
