Version 9

I was searching around for the requirements for version 9. What I am trying to figure out is the minimum backed up version ex 8.3 or 7.509 or such. I know I have to do a clean install just don't want to have it not restorable.

    The current consensus for v7 users  is to do the following:
    up2date to latest 7.5x
    backup
    install 8.x (8.1 if you have it)
    restore the backup
    up2date to 8.305 & reboot (if running 8.1, up2date to last 8.1, reboot, and then click 'up2date to latest version'; e.g. you don't have to install them 1 by 1)
    backup
    install v9
    restore the backup

    That worked fine for me, although I had to delete and recreate some QOS selectors as the names were changed and causing problems.
