Unusual Install Message

All-

I received the enclosed notification when installing UTM 9.000-8.1 from the downloaded ISO. UTM 9 is being installed on a lenovo core 2 duo with 8 gb of ram, running on an mtron 60 gb ssd (SLC). There has been no issue installing any other versions of ASG. Secondly I have down loaded and burned 2 different CD's to make sure it was not the CD. The notification is as follows:

Boot:
[     0.623649] drivers/rtc/hctosys.c:  unable to open rtc device (rtc8) 
INIT:   version 2.86 booting

I see this message after pressing enter when booting from the CD. Not sure what this indicates but I seem to have normal operation with the ASG post install.....

    Scottj, i fully agree with you. I just pointed out that this message:

    1. also appears on Hyper-V - so it is not Hardware based

    2. That it is not due to "wrong" burning - i mounted it directly

    3. It may be but it does not seems to be related to the overlenght filepath issue - because error exists when iso not burned too


    Sure, some sophos techs should investigate!
