Because for a period, the same motherboards used for 320s were also used for 220s. As the 220s at the time were marketed as having 8x 10/100, new faceplates were not printed. Basically a freebee bonus for 220 owners at the time.
If running v8, you can feel free to manually set speed/duplex to 100/full for the GE ports if it makes you feel better. [:P]
