320 showing Installation for the last 24 hours

I got 320 from eBay, the hard drive was clear, I follow the installation instruction and cut a CD with the iso file, when I start the device, after sort time it show 'Installation' on the LCD panel (no VGA port) and stay like this for the last 24 hours.

If the HD was wiped completely, the "SSI" (ASG Hardware install ISO) will never install on it. You can install the "Software" appliance ISO on it just fine, though, but the Ethernet ports will probably be in a different order than the label on the front indicates -- search the forums here for info on how to change that, if it's even necessary for you.

I try the software but this not even show installation.
I read on this form (https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/52/t/28407) that the software one will NOT install on 320.

If the drive has been wiped, the software version should install.

Are you using a CDROM or a USB stick?

Using CDROM, no the new v8 software not even showing 'installation'

I am trying to cut a CDROM with V7, give it a try

Also try running MemTest86; iirc it is available from the v8 CD's boot menu.

If you are using the software install you will need to connect a monitor and keyboard as the installation is not automated as in the SSI install and that is why you won't see any info displayed on the lcd.

Thsi 320 do not have VGA connection, so no monitor.
What is MemTest86 and how do I run it?

Memtest86 is a memory stress-tester, but you'd need a monitor.

If the 320 doesn't have a monitor cable, it may be very old.
