Licence Expired

Quick update,

I tried to log on to the internet this morning, with one of my computers, which is a member of my home domain. The machine does M.S. and antivirus updates but cannot access the internet for normal http web access. My gut hunch is that the Active Directory link is down due to the licence fowl-up, but I don't know what is happening exactly because I can't access the the webadmin interface whilst the firewall is in this licence limbo. I am about to try with the other domain machines I have here, but I suspect those will be the same. 

I am writing this not on a non-domain linux box BTW.

I tried to download a standard domestic licence, but that just attempted to switch off many of the functions I was using with my "special reward" licence, so I stopped the installation of the file.

Hi All,

Looks like this has been resolved. I spoke to Sophos support and they re-instated the partner licence, which I have now successfully installed. The down side is that the transition from the old to the new licence has switched off some of the functionality that I was using but that is not critical so I'll just have to live with it.

I was awarded a 100 IP licence last year for helping identify several holes in a product beta testing. I logged onto the firewall on Friday to find the licence had expired 2 weeks early and as the portal was being maintained, there was no way of renewing it. This morning, I've logged on to the new licencing portal and can't even find a record of the licence leta alone any way of renewing it... Help![:O]

I have a similar issue, in that my license, which I was awarded for helping out in the product beta testing has also now expired.  I have created a new license but as above I have lost some of the functionality.  I did have a cluster license, with 3 nodes, but it is now not possible to re-instate this with the new license model (according to support).  Is this possible on a partner license?  Not critical as this is only for messing around at home, but it does seem like a major step backwards and a bit of a kick in the teeth after helping out with the beta testing.
