ASG, VMWare, pvscsi, vmxnet?

Tried to search for information in regards to running the latest Astaro v8 (non-beta) in VMWare Workstation using the virtualized scsi and NIC and could not find any recent information.

So simple question, does Astaro currently support VMWare's pvscsi controller and vmxnet(3) nic in the standard ISO, or only in the VM package?

If it doesn't support either in the ISO or VM package, should I use the standard LSI scsi adapter along with the e1000 nic?

  • Tyvm for the info and especially the direct link. It'll make things much simpler once I install it on my server.

One small correction to my posts ... I have not used the PVSCSI virtual hba, only the LSI Parallel and SAS adapters, I'd recommend either of those.
