11 Mbit connect drops to 5mbit behind Astaro

So I've been getting an install of Astaro up and running and have been tweaking various settings. Today I ran a speed test behind Astaro and was surprised at how drastic the speed of my internet connection was reduced. Prior to installing, when running a speed test at speakeasy.net/speedtest, I was getting speeds over 11Mbit / sec. Earlier today when I tested it, the best speed I could get was 4.8Mbit / sec.

I am running Astaro from a Virtual Machine (VMWare ESXi); however, it has over 50% free ram and when running the speed test was only using 2-3% cpu. 

Is this typical for Astaro? Or did I do something wrong while installing / configuring?

    Ill have to log into my esxi to show you how to set the required reservations.  try twit.tv for downloads and see what you get I can't read everything well on my phone....:-)

    Are you talking about the resource tab on the ESXi VM? One thing that confused me about that tab is why the upper limit is 4788 Mhz when my cpu is only 2.4 Ghz . . . 

    I was able to download something from twit.tv and it seemed to go fast; however, mp4s apparently don't trigger the antivirus engine.
