HA Hot-Standby licensing

When it was time to renew our ASG120 licenses we were offered a free ASG120 if we signed up for a 3yr period. I took the offer and started using the new ASG120 with the new licenses. At the time, I was told that I could use the old ASG120 for a HA setup but I never went about it. The licenses in the older ASG120 have expired. Do I need to renew something so I can use it in HA mode?

No, in Active-Passive you only need a single valid license, since only one unit is "functional" at a time.

Thanks again Scott! I replied yesterday to your email regarding opening an RMA ticket for me.

Since ASG120 #2 (the newer one) is not working. I've reimaged ASG120 #1 (the older one) and I have installed ASG120 #1 licenses on it. Is this OK?
