http Proxy gone down after upgrade to 8.303

I also have problems after the upgrade form 8.302 to 8.303.

My network behind the Astaro Appliance cannot connect to the Internet anymore. Except when I change the InternetExplorer/FireFox setting to not use Proxy settings. 
Before the upgrade all systems (laptops/desktops/servers) could connect to without any problems. (Only 1 desktop had problems with FireFox proxy settings in combination with Facebook.com (constantly asking for network username and password)).

I checked many settings in the Astaro. Changed the WebFiltering Authantication mode form "None" to "Active Directory SSO" with 2 AD groups. But nothing works. 
I found out, that the problems lie in the http-proxy settings, because the Exange server behind tha Astaro has no problems on the port 25. While the port 8080 is blocked.

    OK, I'm a bit scared now... on one hand, especially the improved web proxy reportings sound like some of my customers would be keen to get them, but on the other hand it looks as if AD membership might be a problem when updating.

    So my question to the community: What's your emxperience with the update? What's your ratio of "No problem" to "AD (or other) problem"?

    @ Astaro: Is this a known error that might be debugged with 8.304?

    Sooo I have rejoined my Astaro to the AD. But I am marveld about the account who had the rights to let the Astaro run the join process. 

    It wasn't the Administrator and it wasn't the special made admin account for the Astaro. It was just my own AD account with admin rights. [:S] [:$]

    Until now the Astro runs again. Hopefully it will tomorrow. I made a snapshot in VM. 

    I am still confused.

    The 8.3x release sets have had me tearing my hair out when it comes to the web proxy/content filter. In one case, we threw out Astaro's web content filter and went with the Sophos web content filter appliance on VM. 

    In another case, which I'm working on now, we have seen enough sporadic behavior with 8.303 that we're going to backdate the firewall tonight to 8.103. 

    Sites that aren't using web content filtering are fine.

    Wow, I'm not seeing that, Jon.  Maybe we could make each other auditors on a customer's machine and see if there's something we're doing differently.  Or, is this consistent across your customer base?

    After "normal" http-proxy fuctioning, the Astaro failed again this evening. I tested this moring by RDP session to the AD server when I was at the office. 

    Now I was starting to flip out this evening, but then I saw the Astaro v8.304 up2date message. I urged to install this update and after a reboot the Astaro did need an extra time to settle. But the http-proxy does work now. Time to test this evening and tomorrow. But it looks like it does the job.

    That's strange because all the 8.304 Up2Date did was to fix a newly-discovered vulnerability in IPsec - and the HTTP Proxy has nothing to do with that.

    The same situation here every morning on my 10GE-Cluster.

    httpproxy restart solves the problem normally!

    My machines cannot see a 8.304 update right now, so i will wait, but i think the restart did it for HMaster.

    I just downloaded the file to my pc and after that I uploaded it to the Astaro. After a minut or 2 the update is visable.

    Maby IPSec has more issue's than clearly vissible.[:S]
