Extremely slow ping and slower speed through Astaro

Can someone please help me with this, I have noticed that I seem to get extremely slow ping results when pinging though the Astaro. I tend to get 367ms through the Astaro and around 47ms without going through it. Any ideas why this is happening ?

The download speed seems to be slower as well through the Astaro.

Any help appreciated.

    I'm in the process of installing ESXi on the box, and then running Astaro from within that. I'm curious if it has something to do with it...

    I am running 9.001018 via KVM (Proxmox VE 2.1) and have the same issues you describe. I have to reboot the host typically once a day and sometimes more frequently to get things back to normal. I have tried restarting only the vm and disabling/enabling the interfaces on the host but only a full host reboot resolves the issue.

    My host is a Core i5 2500 with 16gb RAM. The UTM VM has 4gb ram configured. VM memory use is ~40% and CPU utilization averages
