Extremely slow ping and slower speed through Astaro

Can someone please help me with this, I have noticed that I seem to get extremely slow ping results when pinging though the Astaro. I tend to get 367ms through the Astaro and around 47ms without going through it. Any ideas why this is happening ?

The download speed seems to be slower as well through the Astaro.

Any help appreciated.

Whenever something seems sttrange, the first thing to do is to look at the Intrusion Prevention log. Anything there?

I am not running the IPS module. I've tried disabling all modules possible and I still have this issue.
