Extremely slow ping and slower speed through Astaro

Can someone please help me with this, I have noticed that I seem to get extremely slow ping results when pinging though the Astaro. I tend to get 367ms through the Astaro and around 47ms without going through it. Any ideas why this is happening ?

The download speed seems to be slower as well through the Astaro.

Any help appreciated.

    I have been having intermittent connection issues after moving the entire network to a new location. I have tracked the problem down to the astaro 8.30. Ping times with the astaro are at 207ms and 7ms without!?! That is how I found this thread. I would also like to know what is happening. Should I restore a backup config from last week?

    Using 3 GHZ i5 Box with 6GB RAM and 3 Intel Nics


    32 bit install or 64 bit install?  You could also have a configuration issue.  BTw which i5 specifically?

    also which site are you trying to ping?  What does tracert show as well?  ping one site then run tracert to it as well.
