Extremely slow ping and slower speed through Astaro

Can someone please help me with this, I have noticed that I seem to get extremely slow ping results when pinging though the Astaro. I tend to get 367ms through the Astaro and around 47ms without going through it. Any ideas why this is happening ?

The download speed seems to be slower as well through the Astaro.

Any help appreciated.

    since moving to the physical meachine I am getting my full connection speed from Astaro however pings are slower, I have a feeling this might be a config issue somewhere.


    I think your slow speeds inside of vmware is also a config issue considering the tons of vmware and other hypervisor installs

    My speeds are good now, the only problem is ping at the moment and I have officially given up on this now after I tried our setup on an i5 and i7 machine.

    So this rules out nics as both of these are brand new machines.
